OUR Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom
come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us
this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we

But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

SUMMARY OF THE LAW
THOU shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great
commandment. And the second is like unto it; Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all
the Law and the Prophets
INVOCATION
In the name of the Father, and of the + Son, and of the Holy
Ghost. Amen.
GLORIA PATRI
GLORY be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world
without end. Amen.
DOMINE, NON SUM DIGNUS
LORD, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come under my roof;
but speak the word only, and my soul shall be healed.
GLORIA IN EXCELSIS
GLORY be to God on high, and on earth peace, good will towards
men. We praise thee, we bless thee, we worship thee, we glorify
thee, we give thanks to thee for thy great glory, O Lord God,
heavenly King, God the Father Almighty. O Lord, the only-begotten
Son, Jesus Christ; O lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,
that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou
that takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. Thou
that sittest at the right hand of God the Father, have mercy
upon us. For thou only art holy; thou only art the Lord; thou
only, O + Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art most high in the glory
of God the Father. Amen.
CONFESSION OF SIN
ALMIGHTY God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all
things, Judge of all men; we acknowledge and bewail our manifold
sins and wickedness, which we, from time to time, most grievously
have committed, by thought, word, and deed, against thy Divine
Majesty, provoking most justly thy wrath and indignation against
us. We do earnestly repent, and are heartily sorry for these
our misdoings; the remembrance of them is grievous unto us; the
burden of them is intolerable. Have mercy upon us, have mercy
upon us, most merciful Father; for thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ's
sake, forgive us all that is past; and grant that we may ever
hereafter serve and please thee in newness of life, to the honour
and glory of thy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ANGELIC SALUTATION
HAIL Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the
hour of our death. Amen.
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ, wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me;
O good Jesu, hear me;
Within thy wounds hide me;
Suffer me not to be separated from thee;
From the malicious enemy defend me;
In the hour of my death call me,
And bid me come to thee.
That with thy Saints I may praise thee
For ever and ever. Amen.
VENI CREATOR
Come, Holy Ghost, our souls inspire,
and lighten with celestial fire.
Thou the anointing Spirit art,
who dost thy sevenfold gifts impart.
Thy blessed unction from above
is comfort, life, and fire of love.
Enable with perpetual light
the dullness of our blinded sight.
Anoint and cheer our soiled face
with the abundance of thy grace.
Keep far our foes, give peace at home;
where thou art guide, no ill can come.
Teach us to know the Father, Son,
and thee, of both, to be but One,
That through the ages all along,
this may be our endless song,
Praise to thy eternal merit,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
JUST FOR TODAY
Lord, for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray;
Keep me, my God, from stain of sin just for today.
Let me both diligently work, and duly pray.
Let me be kind in word and deed, Just for today.
Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey;
Help me to sacrifice myself just for today.
And if today my tide of life should ebb away,
Give me thy Sacraments divine, Sweet Lord, today.
So for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray,
But keep me, guide me, love me, Lord. Just for today.
THE ANGELUS
¶ the following is said morning, noon, and nigyht, in thankgiving
for the Incarnation of God
The Angel of the Lord announced unto Mary, and she conceived
by the Holy Ghost.
HAIL Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at
the hour of our death. Amen.
BEHOLD the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy
word.
HAIL, Mary.
AND the Word was made Flesh and dwelt among us.
HAIL, Mary.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let Us Pray.
WE beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into our hearts: that,
as we have known the incarnation of thy Son Jesus Christ by the
message of an angel, so by his cross and passion + we may be
brought unto the glory of his resurrection. Through the same
Christ our Lord. Amen.
But from Easter-Day to the Saturday after Pentecost,
the following is said, instead:
Regina Coeli
O QUEEN of heaven, be joyful, alleluia;
Because he whom so meetly thou barest, alleluia,
Hath arisen, as he promised, alleluia: Pray for us to the Father, alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, Alleluia.
R. For the Lord is risen indeed, alleluia.
Let us Pray.
O GOD, who, by the resurrection of thy Son Jesus Christ, didst
vouchsafe to give gladness unto the world: grant, we beseech
thee, that we, being holpen by the Virgin Mary, his Mother, may
attain unto the joys of everlasting life. + Through the same
Christ our Lord. Amen.
